Using Ubiquity wireless antenna’s we connected the business to the owners home. Allowing automated offsite backups daily using his Synology NAS devices. I maintain the customers network of plotters, printers and PC’s, with two Synology NAS devices and 21TB of storage each. One is located at the business location while the second is located at his residence across town. While the customer accesses his office from the road with OpenVPN, a faster connection is needed for backup. The wireless AP’s provided two solutions, first being a backup; the two Synology NAS use rsync to move files between for off site backups and second it provided a faster connection to work from home.
