During our trip to Monroe, we had the opportunity to visit the Biedenharn Museum & Gardens, a hidden gem filled with history, culture, and beautifully maintained landscapes. Originally the home of Joseph A. Biedenharn, the first bottler of Coca-Cola, the museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the early days of the iconic soft drink. Inside, we explored exhibits showcasing vintage Coca-Cola memorabilia, early bottling equipment, and historical artifacts that tell the story of how Coca-Cola became a global brand.
Beyond the museum, we wandered through the stunning ElSong Gardens, filled with vibrant flowers, peaceful fountains, and classical statues. The Bible Museum, located on-site, added another layer to our visit, featuring rare biblical texts, religious artifacts, and an extensive collection of Bibles, including a replica of the Gutenberg Bible.
The combination of history, art, and serene gardens made for an enjoyable and educational experience. Our visit to the Biedenharn Museum & Gardens provided some fantastic photo opportunities, and we’re excited to share those moments here!
